A feature wall is great way to add some interest and personality to your home. You can really add some value to your house and if done properly it will really emphasize the charm of your home. Its can be harder than you think but if you follow these points it will be a lot easier.
It may sound silly but the first thing is to think about the colour you want to use and the wall you want to paint. Remember that a feature wall is exactly that a “feature Wall” try to choose that wall that doesn’t have a large door or window. Think about the colour you want, certain colours may make your room seem smaller than it actually is. Try to imagine the room after you have finished painting, what pictures, painting’s or art pieces will you have on the wall when you finish. What furniture will go in the room.
Once you choose the wall and have an idea for a colour. I recommend you go to your local Hardware or Paint Store and get some samples pots or colour charts. I strongly recommend you do this. This is extra step could some you some heart break and $. Nothing worse than starting and getting half way through and realise its not what you wanted.
